Google PageRank update August 2012 – This blog has PageRank!

There is a Google PageRank update happening right now! Latest PageRank Update August 2nd 2012. After this update, well, it turns out that we got our PR back. Triptripper Tips Blog has been given a PageRank of 4/10 again.

The last PageRank update we had was about 3 months ago in May. The WordPress install of Triptripper Tips Blog that time was still on a subfolder, after that update I moved WordPress from subfolder to subdomain. The Pagerank of this blog before I moved it was already PR 4, so PR for Triptripper Tips remains the same. The good news is that the PR for our main domain, which is a Travel Blog has increased to 3 from 2!

I guess this blog is doing well since it started 5 months ago. I have been working hard on quality back links and SEO for this blog, now I am happy with the update :) . I enjoy blogging for many reasons and it’s always nice when there’s a great reward, including good PageRank from Google.

PageRank is a rating from Google of your webpages on a scale of 0-10, with 10 being the best rating. It is updated every 3-4 months. So, the next update is expected in the first week of November 2012.

  1. I am not aware of the page rank update. Though my site still maintain its PR1 which is better than nothing. I will optimize so I can gain higher PR in future update.
